My new blog is ready for viewing.  IT HAS A DIFFERENT ADDRESS.   The recipes are still the same but the format is different and there will eventually be a recipe card at the end of each posting that you can print and save.  For your convenience there will not be any ads on my blog.  I find them to be very annoying and not worth the trouble.  You will need to resubscribe to the new blog if you would like an email notification when I post.  I have lots of new recipes to share.  Can't wait to get started.  I have been scouring magazines and other blogs and collecting from my friends.  I am going to have guest contributors each month,  really great cooks that I have learned from over the years.  My sister, my mom, my cousin and numerous friends. You will not want to miss their favorite recipes.  And of course everything will have gone through my test kitchen so you will undoubtedly have a successful outcome.

My birthday is coming up and it's a big one.  So in honor of my new blog update I am giving away a new mini KitchenAide stand mixer (silver).  I am giving all my current subscribers extra entries today, (Monday) and tomorrow,( Tuesday), only.  Starting on Wednesday you will be redirected to the new blog when you search for my old blog where you will also be given entries for commenting.  To enter to win, just comment and tell me a favorite recipe from my blog, at the bottom of this post and you will receive 10 entries.  Or you can email me at canigetthatrecipe@gmail.com. Thank you again for being faithful followers of this blog.  I started it 9 years ago for my girls but it has grown to be a fun hobby for me.  I appreciate all your comments and love that so many have become more confident in their cooking and baking because of the recipes I have shared.
